In this chronology, I have attempted to organize the seaQuest episodes and novels in continuity order. This order differs from both the aired order and episode production order, as an attempt to follow either order results in continuity errors. The following chronology is a result of both my own viewing, the viewing order created by The Rewatch Podcast, and information from the seaQuest DSV Fandom website. I have tried to resolve any discrepancies, and I will continue to revise the order as needed.
The seaQuest series consists of 57 television episodes, 3 novels, and 1 comic book. For the third season, the show jumped forward in time 10 years and was retitled from seaQuest DSV to seaQuest 2032. The first seaQuest novel, titled seaQuest DSV: The Novel, is a novelization of the first episode, while the other novels are all original stories. I have never seen the comic book, so the placement is fully conjecture based on publication date. Media types are differentiated from each other in the timeline using the following:
